Colandrea back for 2027

Roll thru this thread. See what a difference 60 minutes can make.
A few observations:

1) Granted, it wasn't Ant's best day. But keep in mind that the QB gets tagged with the interception tally but not all interceptions are bad throws.

2) Colandrea has time to throw--the OL did their job. But our Big 3 WRs weren't getting free or AC missed seeing them.

3) Some fans wonder why we didn't stick to the run more. Washington adjusted by loading the box. We should have had guys open.

4) Some of our best WRs got cases of the dropsies Catch those balls and we might be talking about the game--and Colandrea--differently today.

I was referring to the tone of the comments, though.

I know, HV.

By copying your quote, I'm sorry if my response made it appear critical vs. observational. :ashamed0001:

Please, my Husker brother. I took NO offense. Just thot we were having different conversations.

Only intended to clarify. gbr

Agree with all of this Doc but #3 brings up another question. I heard a talking head on you tube say "You don't think Washington loaded the box against Iowa? They still ran for 270 yards against them." You can't just throw up your hands when a defense makes an adjustment. Reminds me of Frost throwing out half the playbook because I believe it was Illinois switched to a 4-man front instead of 3 against the Huskers.
