Grown man? Like 40? I had no idea he was that old. I'm having second thoughts now.
Now we also have to keep AC healthy for next year. We need to have a running back to take the rushing leadership from AC. Now that we've invested millions in NIL for next year we need to protect our investment.
Hopefully he leads this team to a title of anything, its been a long timeRetaining the services of Anthony Colandrea is the first piece of the puzzle that will undoubtedly result in a national championship next season.
I didn't even see her face and I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
Onward
Rhule could have ended the Penn State speculation (I really doubt he was being seriously considered) with one simple statement. Instead, he chose to play the speculation for all it was worth, even if it was a distraction to the team.Uncertainty is never good. Many here may disagree, but I will believe to my dying day that the uncertainty that swept through the program -- players, coaches & staff -- the week leading up to the Minnesota game we laid an egg in was the result of the all the Rhule to Penn State rumors.
the Six Million Dollar Man!If what I hear is true, AC's new nicky is Colonel Steve Austin.

Looking back now, I suspect the final details were already in the works when Coach Rhule made his "SEC teams are already reaching out to Ant" comment. This Colandrea news is a huge momentum boost for everybody both inside and outside of the program as we head into the home stretch of games and recruiting!
I absolutely agree with Fumble and said as much last year after the Minnesota game. I was PO'd Rhule didn't have a talk with his players to put their minds at rest. So it went.I’ll see your like and raise you two.
Sorry, Huusker, but that's fake news. Rhule told his players and recruits the day after the firing that he wasn't leaving. If you don't believe me, go back and listen to the player interviews that week.Rhule could have ended the Penn State speculation (I really doubt he was being seriously considered) with one simple statement. I have a similar but slightly different take. Matt did play this card but for a different reason. He did it to accumulate NIL money. The AD gave an extension to maintain recruiting connections which Matt said he appreciated but didn’t ask for. Did the maneuver backfire? In the short run it definitely did.. We’re still playing out the long game.Rhule could have ended the Penn State speculation (I really doubt he was being seriously considered) with one simple statement. He got his extension, and I'm not sure we can say the rumors were the main reason we stunk at Minnesota. But I will say this: after it all played out, I lost some respect for Matt Rhule.
Agree. In retrospect, I think Rhule bought into his own "Year 3" history and got too cocky and clever for his own good. He thought his NFL connections gave him an edge given our DC's background and where our DL coach was coming from.BTW my take on the blow out loss to Minny and later losses was definitely on Matt …….poor choices on assistant coaches. I think we are in much better shape now.
