I have never seen posters like what I'm seeing on the UCF board. I've posted on CU, KU, KSU boards and probably a few others that I'm forgetting. I've never seen statements like I'm seeing now. They are honestly threatening Husker fans in Husker red that show up to cheer on UCF at their championship game. Unfreakin' believable. Tomorrow cannot get here fast enough!

That thread almost makes me WANT to show up in my Husker gear - let the chips fall where they may....

Anyone that wants to attend any sporting event should be allowed to without fear of physical injury regardless of what colors they choose to wear. That being said, there is no doubt that it would be a total "dick move" to rub salt in the fresh wound by flaunting Husker gear in the stadium tomorrow.

Well when a program loses a coach it likes, it's painful. I know I'd feel pretty bad if another program poached John Cook. And I DID feel bad when Dave Van Horn pulled a "Frost" and went home. I understood it, but I didn't like it.

I'm sure many UCF fans feel betrayed, but this is the life of college athletics these days. I don't know how many UCF fans think this is a money thing, but I really don't think that does justice to the complex situation Scott is in.

When ADBB asked Van Horn how much money it would take to keep him, the supposed reply was "This isn't about money. When you're called home, you go." Our baseball program has never been the same since, I really hope Scott has built something more lasting at UCF.

It's sad but it's the nature of the business....they need to get over it.....Husker Fans who show up at that game shouldn't be afraid to wear Husker Gear but honestly it's not worth getting hurt over.
My advice would be if they want to go that bad fine but don't wave the Huskers in their face.....your just asking for trouble.....our fans that would do that really are there just kicking dirt looking for trouble anyhow .....no matter how they dress or wear they aren't going to have any effect on what happens anyhow.....that Decision was made at least a week or 2 ago so why not just let it alone .

Doc.

Yup, we should let sleeping dogs lie. If someone had stole Osborne and then came dressed up in their team gear might be surprized at the reaction of colleges best fans.

Thankfully, the Mods finally deleted that thread. I was surprised that it was left up as long as it was.

I'm just ready for the game to start and then for the announcements that seem to be following it!

Ya. it is pretty pathetic. I did a drive by on their board and now, most of them are calling Frost a disloyal, lying, terrible human being, and saying they will hope the Huskers never win another game again. One guy said:"I now hate him intensely, and I hope he never has anymore success the rest of his life"..........Of course, some Husker "fans" over there just can't shut up, and are sure hurting the reputation of the Husker fan base as a whole..... :nonono2:

There are definitely a couple of db Husker "fans" over there that should STFU. But, there have been maybe a dozen or more Husker fans that have posted over there since Frost was hired and UCF fans are more than willing to lump everyone together; despite having evidence to the contrary that all Husker fans are not db's. As I said earlier, I understand feeling hurt and disappointed but those posters calling for violence and making threats crossed a line. Bottom line is that this a game played by college kids and not life and death matters. Sad because these are allegedly grown-ups, or so they want you to believe, making those remarks not kids.

You would think the UFC fans would show up for their games if they really wanted to build a program. The last two weeks were the biggest in UCF history and they can't fill this little stadium.
