Bud Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez 9/13!

Fight moved to 9/13 and it is on Netflix! Hope they have learned their lesson from the Tyson vs Paul debacle.
Yes I totally agree! I think I may be more nervous for this fight than any of the football games this season. It is a must win for Bud to shut down all the haters. Love how he is embracing the heel (villain) role. Hopefully Netflix has learned from the Tyson vs Paul debacle and the stream goes smoothly.
I saw Bud do the quick question/response interview and he mentioned his big dream was to box inside Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. That would be incredible!
As far as his current fight goes. He needs to do a better job of not being hit with the straight right hand as he fights out of the southpaw stance. He has a tendency of getting hit with that. He takes it pretty darn well but I think Nelo probably hits harder than any past op. Bud takes risks to deliver his counter shots and that right hand has me concerned.
Overall, there is no reason other than that tendency to be hit by that right hand for Crawford to lose. Nelo can be outboxed by Bud and I don't see it being that difficult for him. Bud does not have a slick boxing style. He will stay in the danger zone using his feet and angles to attack.
This will be an excellent fight and may well go the distance. I'm hoping for Bud to knock out Canelo in 9 or 10 rounds. Tough job but can be done.
