** Breaking News - Raiola is Back in Play! **

Hate to "buy" a college player, but guess that's the world today. As long as he isn't " playing" DONU, (again).

Well, if he isn't "N" this time, tired of hearing ' bout him. I know, I know. Nebraska just gave Unc, a great pay raise. But if he wanted to be here, he would of been earlier. Just tired of hearing of who the Huskers could have, and who NU didn't get.

Don't feel like going through the million tweets and YouTubes about this. Would someone please be kind enough to tell me what the timeline is here for announcing his commitment?

Thanks much.

Some good news here
That's some REALLY good news! No school in the country has a better incoming tandum of freshman QBs than Nebraska! Guaranteed!

One, it takes all the bitterness out of my mouth about how this eleventh hour development impacted DK. There's No Way he'd stay committed if the rumors we heard about the consortium 'pulling DK's NIL money' were true. This also strikes me as another sell-job by Matt Rhule. If both QBs sign next Wednesday, Coach deserves MAJOR props!!!!

Two, competition is good for both Daniel and Dylan. A heated QB battle back in 1969 led to Nebraska's first national championship. They'll both be better for it.

Third, I'm not naive enough to believe we'll keep both on the roster down the road. One of them will leave for better money. But The Best Case Scenario is that Dylan heads for the NFL early after a spectacular college career and then Daniel steps in to pick up the reins. :)

I guess I should've learned by now to keep my damn mouth shut until signing day. :) BUT...if the rumor is true that DK is staying committed, I'd love to have been a fly on the wall to hear how all this shook out.

I suspect that when the coaching staff put on a full court press to keep DK, we'll hear that the same QB responsible for bringing in many of the class's best players was himself the recipient of the same 'Go Big Red' sell-job in return from those same players.

2024 TOP QB RECRUIT RANKINGS - COLLEGE FOOTBALL NOW

Found this kind of interesting. They have Kaelin as 35th best and Raiola 55th.
Sorry, Hunch, but color me skeptical. Any Tom, D i c k, or Harry can come up with a YouTube QB ranking. If you want to know who the best are, look at the guys the Big Dawgs are going after.

According to the link, we're to believe that in this CFB world of intense, high powered, cut-throat QB recruiting....
Wake Forest nabbed the third best QB recruit in the nation?
Perennial SEC Cellar-dweller Vandy pulled off recruiting two of the top six QBs?
That the top 12 includes recruits signing with UNLV, UConn, UAB and Toledo??!?
That Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon and Michigan all lost out?

Agreed. It's bogus.
