Billy Devaney?

Sipple had an article Friday stating that Devaney is still working on recruiting.

It certainly seems like he 1) hasn't done a good job in evaluating coaching or player talent, and 2) he was a major cog in the dysfunction of the Riley/Eichorst regime.

I heard that there was something in his contract that will make it difficult to remove him. Does anyone know if he will be retained further and if so, what will he being doing?

Agree 100%. If Scott doesn't approve then Moos needs to cut him loose. I'm guessing he reports to the AD in some fashion since his contract is not tied to the coaching staff.

If Devaney (Bill not Bob) served a positive purpose for the program and contributed...keep him. I have heard through the grapevine that his work was instrumental to really great football.......real groundbreaking stuff. His wealth of pro experience really set the tone for all things Nebraska football. What is it he did again..does anyone know???
