Baseball 2026

They keep saying on Sports Nightly how they want to get revenge on Ohio State. I doubt that would happen. Give me Michigan, their RPI is 53, Ohio State is 80. Nebraska beat Michigan twice on the road. Ohio State humiliated Nebraska with garbage, junk pitching for 3 straight games, pitching which, by the way, has looked like s*** against a lot of other teams. Still angry about that.

Michigan wins 3-0 over Ohio State, and will play Nebraska tomorrow at 5 p.m. which is entirely dependent on A) the weather, and B) the previous 2 games ending on time.

Well the Big 10 has done it again. Buried their head alllll the way up their own backsides.

Michigan State-USC did have a delay this morning, understandable as it was actually raining. That game ended at about 2:01 p.m. CT. They then decided, in their infinite wisdom, to push the Purdue-UCLA game back to 6 p.m. AT THE EARLIEST. I LIVE IN Omaha, it was NOT RAINING between the hours of, say, 2:46 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. You could have taken a huge chunk out of that game by now before possibly needing to stop, and even then I'm not sure it was raining hard enough to justify stopping, at least based on what I drove in between my job and home. Unreal. So it has been announced that Nebraska and Michigan will play however late necessary  Washington and Oregon will play tomorrow.

Well, isn't that just special!?!?!?

The Purdue/UCLA game didn't start until 7:03. Just insipid. I've heard conflicting reports about how the Mich/NU game will be handled as the official social media post from Nebraska says they "intend to complete the game tonight" which heavily implies they'd play until 3 a.m. if they have to, but commenters on other sites are claiming they've been told by Charles Schwab Stadium there's still a curfew of some sort on. Maybe that's just for start times, which means we need this Boilers-Bruins game to giddy up :|
