Alberts to A&M?!?!?!

Not a lot of hope left for this program... It's too far gone. They took it and played with it like some spoiled rotten clowns and F-it all up.

He did a great job in Lincoln. FACT. But in the end he is the same guy that told Mike Denney that he was doing away with the UNO wrestling program the morning after they had just won a national championship. ***** then, ***** now. Just more polished.

That's pretty much where I'm at now too. What a horrible spot to leave the university in. So many people gave him everything he wanted and came here relying on and trusting him.

No excuse. He's a douchebag.

Richard Cranium aka Harvey Perlman was indeed that. We don't even know who the next President is at UNL. IMO, you're giving Alberts way too much credit. I think it is as simple as NIL capability and what he perceived as one of the largest untapped honey pots in NCAA. Nebraska's endowment is 1.7 billion and Texas A&M is ten times that much. Same loyal fan base, just bigger, and not as much of a microscopic world of media. That guy left because he thinks it's greener pastures.

Matt Rhule may just come back from vacay and state loud and clear that he is still here and by God he intends to WIN! We don't know yet is why Alberts left, and we don't know yet who replaces him. But, Nebraska is going to WIN.
I hope Rhule not only stays but kicks royal ass this year!

I would like to put out a public PSA right now.

Hey Trevedict Arnold, if you ever take a roadie west of the Texas state line I will be waiting. Whether it's Hobbs, Texico, or Eunice...I'll be waiting. You wanna take your family to the Grand Canyon? I strongly recommend you take the circuitous route from the Oklahoma panhandle, Colorado, Utah, and then south.

Sincerely,
A Real Husker

I don't see Rhule leaving. He'll see things as they really are and adjust to come out a winner. It's hard to mess with a man who lives a principled life.
I think his buyout is $74 million too. I don't see anyone chocking up that kind of cash.
