5 years ago today

Some of you old timers on here will remember that my oldest son X was in a serious tubing accident 5 years ago. Today is the 5 year mark of that horrific day.

Just wanted to get on here to thank many of you who have, over the years, reached out to me personally to check in and see how X is doing.

Five years later, and he is still making progress...admittedly...not as fast as I would like, but in our world of TBI's, any progress is major progress...but more importantly, I still have my boy.

You don't post too often HiT but every time you do I think of your son and pray he is doing well. I'm sure your incredibly positive attitude has helped in your son's healing process. Stay strong my Husker brother. In these crazy times thank you for reminding all of us what is really important. I realize not everyone believes in the power of prayer, but your faith, hope and courage is a true inspiration.
