Four-Star RB Nate Frazier talks recent visits and what schools stand out most right now

Frazier was able to check out Nebraska last week and raved about his time in Lincoln.

“Man it was incredible,” Frazier said. “Coach Matt Rhule is unlike any other coach I’ve been around. He’s all about football but is even more about developing men. He loves the game but he really cares for kids first.”

“He has a great staff that has been with him for years and you can tell they’re all loyal to each other. I love the RB coach, EJ Barthel. I like his coaching style, how he talks to his players and how he would utilize me in the offense.”

The passionate Husker fan base is another thing that stood out for Frazier.

“Those fans are crazy,” Frazier said. “I love it, everyone there is all about Husker football. The game day environment’s are wild and I would love to get back for a game and I’m definitely considering them for an official visit too.”

IF we GET him, he would be the best H.S. RB to sign with NU since DeAngelo Evans at this stage of his career. And he showed more interest than a lot of the visitors that big weekend. I think we reel this guy in and land him in a June visit.

Wow, I don't think I have ever commented on a HS film before - watch a few, but I'm no student. He's got change of direction like JR Superstar, acceleration like Soph year EC, and power like MR. But what stood out to me the most, is he could pass pro like CR (OK, Corey Ross - dude was a real team player). Kind of amazing he must not have caught a pass all year, though. :-)

When I first saw Gabe Ervin in his high school film I was positive he was going to become an NFL player someday. We shall see about that. I feel the same way about Nate Frasier. He has legit talent.
