2027 5* TE Ahmad Hudson (#1 TE) to LSU?

We will see. He has a tight bond with Trae Taylor and I think the success of Nebrasketball adds to our appeal.
True he does but Satterfield is his TE coach and who has Satt put in the NFL? My understanding is Satterfield is the biggest issue. He also moved up his commitment date to before his official with Nebraska. And with LSU hiring a new HC in basketball as well that intrigues him too. I hope what I'm hearing is dead wrong but at this point he's going to LSU.
Yeah not really. Fidone stunk but then when he leaves and gets trained up for the NFL draft by folks who know what they are doing he makes the NFL. Also he wasn't a Satterfield recruit.
But he played at Nebraska under Satt's coaching, which is why I said "technically."
I'm of the thinking that Hudson is going to LSU. I mean I'd love to see him as a Husker, but when the school you grew up rooting and cheering for offers a scholarship, and it's really close to home, that's rarely turned down. Like I said, I want Hudson here, but he has to do what he thinks is best for himself.
And this is huge too but our biggest issue is Satterfield. At LSU he knows he's going to receive better TE coaching. They will also allow him to play basketball as did we, the problem is Satt. He should've been fired after last season. I think he has dirt on Rhule. JMO.
I don't see any reason to fire Satterfield. Our TEs, overall, played well from what I saw. I'm curious to know the specific reasons why you think he should have been fired.
We'll have to agree to disagree about TE play. Our TEs couldn't get vertical last year and aren't blocking well. They wer part of the issue last few years.
NU is trying to get his OV changed so it is before the commitment date. Don't know if it will happen or if it will be successful, but NU is still going after Hudson.
Yep they are still trying and if they can convince him to move his OV before he commits but it's not sounding good. I'm keeping fingers crossed that MR comes through but it's a longshot as he's pretty dead set on LSU at this point. I hope this changes though. We need him and he would start right away.
