2024 4* OT Xander Ruggeroli

Sounds like he was a silent commit but it appears that the entire OL will be coming back (due in no small part to Raiola's contract about to be extended) so Xander was told this week there is not room for him in this class
Don’t you sort of have to find room for a four star offensive lineman who wants to come to Lincoln? In what real life scenario do you say no to him? What am I missing?
I think OT is the hardest position to recruit-perhaps more than QB. Get every decent one you can. They still take years to develop.
So from what I am hearing there may have been some wires crossed on this one. There was a recent addition to the recruiting office that came from FSU. Apparently he was the one who reached out to Xander and rescinded the offer. Xander called Coach Raiola and thanked him for the opportunity and said he wished it would have worked out and Raiola was clueless about what he was saying. The new staffer quit/resigned/was fired seemingly as a result of this incident. If both parties still wanted it to happen I am not sure why they could not reverse course unless the staff truly does not have a spot for him. Kind of confusing but that is what I heard…
Just to confirm - we double fired that guy and buried the body in Giants stadium.....
He only recently changed his name to Dakota Timberland or whatever. His name at birth was Stew Pidbich.
