2024 3* WR Quinn Clark (son of Ken Clark)

Quinn Clark, son of former Husker standout, says Nebraska offer one he'll hold close to his heart

"He offered me right there on the field," said Clark, the 6-5 wide receiver from Gallatin High School in Bozeman, Montana. "I have a lot of family in Nebraska so that one is definitely special to me just because my dad played here. So I'll always hold that one close to my heart. I think that's going to be a gateway to other offers but at the same time that one – that's really special."

As for Nebraska, "The plan is to come back for an official. I definitely want to do that." A Husker and Colts fan (Ken Clark played for them from 1990-92) his whole life, it was special to have success this weekend in Memorial Stadium but he's also going to do his due diligence to make a clear-headed decision with his recruitment.

"Me being a fan of them, it has something to do with it, but I really don't think that that's going to be that big of a factor when it comes to decision time. It will be more culture and all that, and I'll get all that and a better feel for that on my official," he said.

His time with Nebraska's staff this weekend definitely made a good impression as he considers his options and what his calendar will look like in the months ahead.

"They're super cool people. Coach Rhule is a good guy. He knows what he's talking about," he said. "It was cool that they kind of bounced me around positions. Saw how versatile I can be. They were teaching me some tight end and put me in linebacker drills, which I had never done before. It was a learning experience, but they were cool. They had good hospitality. They were nice."

Ken Clark always stuck me as a "good" player that worked really hard to be better. If his son has even some of that want to - he'll be a great addition.

Word around Montana is that he is going to have a pretty big learning curve in the regard. Has all the tools but the hard work part maybe lacking a bit . .
