0 Days until the first game of the 2025 Season.

Upon reflection, this applies to all of us sick pupplies, not just Husker99.

Think about it: we're regularly posting to a Husker football forum....in May.
I know - I think about that on occasion and go, sheesh what is wrong with all of us? Then I think there are worse things we could be doing with our collective time and try to get something of substance done during the day, not just hang out here. That will get harder, the closer to opening game we get.

One of the occurances we always see this time of year is a manufactured clickbate 'controversy.' Normally, you expect it to be from the not-ready-for-primetime social media crowd. But this time, it came from one of the Big Dawgs, On3. Coach Rhule made a joke about wanting 40 teams in the CFB playoffs during a Husker Online interview (Sean's show is owned by On3 BTW) and one of their national pundits took it seriously in a tweet and followed up with an article calling Rhule soft.

Naturally, that made a bunch of Husker fans furious which led -- surprise, surprise -- the On3 crew to follow-up with a YouTube video where the writer of the piece, Ari Wasserman, got his panties in a wad and did a show defending himself.

I'd have posted the video here but I'd just be adding fuel to the fire. These kinds of manufactured controversies get boring after awhile because what's really going on is so transparent.

Please, Lord, hurry up and get us starving Husker football fans to August!

We all have that disease, and there is no cure: HDS (Husker Derangement Syndrome)
The symptoms are many, and are varied. When we lose, there is anger, blame and being unhinged. When we win, the symptoms are euphoria, contentment, and sometimes a sense of false security that everything is back to normal. HDS is a lifetime chronic condition that many, not all can manage.

12 weeks from tonight if my multiplication is correct. After today, don't know how correct my multiplication is though. Whew!

How much time do you have? Because to list all the things wrong would take some time.

Then I think there are worse things we could be doing with our collective time...

I getting ready to do that right now...
