Matt Rhule said a Nebraska fan yelled at his 13-year-old ...

I think some folks on here just are hurt that this fans behavior reflects negatively on the greatest fans in college football. Do you really think Rhule would lie and have his daughter know he's lying and have her pretend it happened?
Come on I can believe it happened and like I said I would have done and said a whole lot more
It certainly wouldn't add anything to Nebraska nice.

This behavior is reprehensible. Probably alcohol and bad character mixed together.

But bringing this up paints the picture that Nebraska fans are cruel and caustic. I don't think that's true. For every bozo who would say that to a 13 year old, there are hundreds of Nebraska fans who would have pushed him away and made a liquid diet necessary for a few weeks.

Did Rhule bring this up to stoke sympathy? I'm hard-pressed to find another reason. I know he's not going to quit a $9 million/year job because of a drunk yahoo. So why even mention it?

How does one show that other than with witnesses or being within range of a video camera?
Doc Fumble responds with tongue firmly in cheek:

Concrete PROOF is important, saturdaysarebetter!!!

This could be a desperate ploy to generate some sympathy, you know. Matt Rhule wants us to believe he's a good-hearted family man. We all know now that he's a piss-poor coach but while we're all angry, let's paint the SOB as an unethical, lowlife liar too!
