Super Official Nebraska vs Michigan State Game Week Thread

I love the Scarlets...
... and I'd like to believe I'm a really open-minded kind of guy...
... and I've seen the one man on their squad this year perform and he's really athletic...
... BUT...

A man waving pom-poms is just WRONG. :ack2:

Let the man wave his pom poms!!!!

Sorry 99, I had to be honest.

But... I'm now realizing that my previous post has the potential to unleash a powerful new weapon to hammer Nebraska TV viewers over the coming weeks.

I can picture a new TV campaign ad that spotlights that guy from Chris's photo.

A voiceover will warn viewers that the other candidate has a top-secret plan to force The Scarlets to...gasp!.. become a MALE-ONLY dance squad... FEATURING POM-POMS!!!

Sorry for hijacking our gameday thread. :ashamed0001:

Back on track...

Before last night, I looked at today's game as giving Husker fans a true sense of how good a team we have this season.

But given what I've seen from watching our fellow B1G competitors play, it also has the potential to reposition us as we fly through the first turn of this year's conference race.

I'm looking forward to watching the game with you guys in today's BHF's Shout Box. But I've got to confess, I'm a bit apprehensive about it.

It can be a scary place when things don't go well.

I remember leaving last season's Penn State Shout Box early. Same with the bowl game. It got downright BRUTAL!

But I've 'bucked up' for this season. I'm prepared to hang in there until the final whistle---UNLESS some joker feels compelled to give away the next play before TV does--especially when its a loss, turnover, or interception. That's a non-negotiable for me.

There, there, doc, it will be OK. Just need to be prepared for any eventuality, whether it be a brutal beatdown on the field or in Game Chat!

Colandrea leads the nation with passes batted down at the line of scrimmage with six. The offensive line needs to do a better job of keeping the big uglies from getting anywhere near our QB.
I wasn't aware of that stat, but everyone, including the Head Coach, wants AC protected better.

One thing to prepare for Doc, is the talk of how our players are terrible and the coaches need to be fired the instant Michigan State gets a first down. I'm only half joking.

...or you can prepare for instant insight, quick wit, and unique perspectives on the human condition.
Also, Uenth will make an appearence.

What I said in Post #133 and what you said in #134 can happen simultaneously as they are not mutually exclusive.

Also, trumpets will sound and the royal banners of Minas Tirith will unfurl in the breeze heralding the appearance of our Queen Regent @Uenth as she enters the chat.
