I can't help but think that Ricketts' response to no BIG football was an "in your face" to Whitmer. I don't want this to be partisan in any way shape or form, but Warren needs to hear there are two sides to this decision. If lawsuits, and parent protests, don't get his attention maybe differing views from political leaders will start a meaningful discussion. Of course, Warren is only one player in this game...…...voting representatives need to have a light shown on them as well.
Having said all that, I STILL don't know if the call was good or bad. I do know the reasons, and the resources, for the decision should be shown the light of day. People can be wrong, but unless explanations are given, no one will know why they were right, or wrong, in the future. "Man-up" everyone.
If myocarditis is indeed the reason, and if it turns out to be a nonfactor, then the resources used need to come under scrutiny. If it becomes a major factor then everyone who voted to cancel can to pat themselves on the back and expect apologies from those on the other side of the fence.
