Just watched him on the BIG network— he obviously missed his calling— should have been a politician as he never answers a question but still has the ability to talk at length without saying anything

Hard to believe he was the best candidate for that job

Not everybody hates him. He just rec'd high praise for leadership from the tOSU AD.

I've met Kevin on a couple of occasions-just in passing. And I hear him routinely on a local radio station.
Id he a politician? Sure - probably the best job skill for his position. I think he's doing pretty well in what is currently a thankless position.

It's a no win situation for him for certain but I like a guy who will step up. He can dance and weave with the best of them so yeah I'm thinking..... political career maybe or better yet...used cars.....or telemarketing .
Look it's obvious he is covering his butt or somebody is....this smells of fear of litigation or something along those lines. I have heard what the Health Committee said and they didn't come out one way or the other.....fence sitting for sure.
I'm not one to listen to hear-say or form opinions based on other people's words.....but I do know Warren has a less than stellar reputation. I don't know the Man at all but if you asked me to base my opinion of his job performance to date..or give him a grade......it wouldn't be much above a D- because he hasn't done anything of note that is positive for the conference and so far has failed badly in the leadership part of his Job...he has to cover his butt of course but he needs to fight for the schools he represents also.
This is where the rubber meets the road now....he should realize his tenure is (like it or not) is going to be judged on how well he handled this pandemic situation and so far in the eyes of many in the conference he has failed badly.
"I move for a vote of no confidence in Commissioner Warren's Leadership"....
....To quote Star Wars.....and the wisest of wise....
"DO OR DO NOT......THERE IS NO TRY"......YODA.
Sorry couldn't help trying to make some of you smile during this whole thing....it's not gonna end well for anyone I'm afraid.

DOC HOLIDAY.

I guess my gut says we have all failed badly. That is why we are here. The blame to go around is massive. And while we want to compare this to 1918, our current health care ability should be exponentially greater then it was then and yet we still have this unmitigated disaster on our hands. So I am frustrated like everyone. More like pissed but I guess we all direct it at different directions and I get that. So lets just all take a deep breath and see what comes. (I might be saying this last line just for myself but maybe not.)

Warren got hit by a bus, and university presidents were at the wheel. The conference was making plans for 10-game schedules at the same time as the presidents were moving towards a shutdown. He either ignored the rumblings coming from the presidential meeting room or grossly underestimated what was about to happen.

Dave Revsine on BTN asked him point-blank if schools had the right to schedule outside the conference and play this fall, and he blathered on for three minutes without answering. Revsine didn't let him off the hook, but he started the same stall and then just admitted he didn't want to answer the question. It was hard to watch.

We did not fail badly. I dont get how anyone can say that. 351 people out of 1.9 million have died over the course of 7 months. Explain how we failed.

There are 164,536 Americans dead at this point and climbing. We Failed. India has had 46,188 and they have a population of about 1.3 billion people.

Other Americans failed. Not nebraskans. Why should we suffer the consequences of what the New England states did? 351 deaths in Nebraska over 7 months. We nailed it.

1. India has a much younger population overall
2. Only 1/5 of deaths in India are certified by a medical authority
3. More than 3/4 of all deaths in India occur at home and the dead family member is cremated soon after death, especially in the rural areas; no clue as to the cause of death

Fine I will bite. How many dead would be a problem? If 164,000 is ok then how many would need to be dead before it is an issue. You guys didn't like when I compared us to Germany a few weeks ago and now you don't see India as a comparable country.

I am tired of people pooh poohing Americans dying from a virus that other nations have been able to at least slow. Sure they have not stopped it but if we are the worlds only super power then how the hell are we a super power if much of the rest of the world has been able to slow this thing and we can't do a damn thing about it.

We could have used masks and social distanced and played along with the health experts and had football. Instead we choose not to and now our season is over. The SEC, Big12 and ACC might try and play but it will be a clusterf@ck. There will be more dead and then we will have what to show for it. They ought to bring the dead bodies that are pilled up in trucks in Texas and put them in the stands so we can see what we have done. That ought to be a good photo of the hubris of our nation.

Guess what, Nebraska is part of this nation too. And as I have said before, we are all responsible for our actions. We are a team and we therefore have all failed. North, South, East and West. Our time will come with this virus if we don't take it seriously. It doesn't care what you or I think.

If the University moves back to the Big 12 I am done. Will not watch Husker Football again. It is all about the football with them. They can kiss my a$$. They probably will not though, because why piss the hand off that is going to feed you. But hell what do I know. We are screwed anyway.

Cheers to the dead.

This is a bit overdramatic. Tensions are high so I get it, but you aren't going to stop being a fan of the huskers if they change conferences.

This is/was NEVER about politics, it's just plain old-fashioned, common sense to wear a face mask during a pandemic.

Once we learned that the wearing of masks in public places was going to be 'voluntary,' I knew in my gut that the chances we'd see college football this fall were slim.
