One of NU's best PR/marketing films ever.
Jackson's a great story.
And makes me want those alt uni's for good!

What an amazing thing he has done Interesting that the Navy put this together but it sure lauds the Husker program. .
It shows that the Navy prepares men to be versatile enough to be other things not just sailors.
Typical Navy SEAL. "Failure is not an option".
If we can get our team to adopt that attitude we'll be back to where Husker football should be sooner than later.

I really hope he sees the field and makes a big play. He is on track to do just that and he will continue to aim for that goal he has set for himself. This will make that Rudy movie look like a cartoon !!!
The story has just started yet we've seen from the Navy's video that its already very compelling. If Jackson's Husker story has a happy ending, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it becomes a feature film someday like 'Rudy' did.
The kid is a grown man at 24...Maturity beyound his 24 years. He’ll succeed at whatever he attempts in life. Most of the BUDS dropouts I deal with in Hospital Corpsman School have the opposite attitude and wonder why they failed out. Didn’t have the mental makeup. This kid gets it. Hooyah Shipmate!
If he starts to take on a significant role, much of the country will be rooting for him. He needs a Tom Rinaldi feature piece on College Gameday next...maybe right before we beat Ohio State next year.
