EDIT: Martinez' Knee

Strange how things go in life. That's a good idea to have him come back for a few games and redshirt

AMart out for the season

The MRI has not been done yet according to some people. If it's just 2-4 weeks then that is big news. He can play the rest of the season and get ready for 2019. This season is about becoming competitive again and we can do that with Bunch for a few games.

And, yes, what is the source? If it is the Huskeronline Huskerbaord thread that is a troll thread, IMO.

I hope this isn’t true...Kid is a baller and competitor. Not eff’n fair...

My neighbors across the street are parents of a player. I'll ask them tonight if they're outside if they have heard anything.

Student friend of AMart.

That would be more speculation from what the medical staff was thinking, IMO. 24 hours has to pass before doing an MRI.

I bet we don't get anything confirmed until Monday or even Tuesday.

When I tore my ACL it was at 7 pm on Friday night and had an MRI at 10 the next morning so dont know where you are getting the 24 hour info, but its incorrect.

I’m a Rodiologic Technologist and I specialize in CT/MRI...We sometimes have to let the swelling go down in order to get the most optimal images...tons of factors that can cause noise or artifact on the images...fluid, prior surgeries, movement because of pain or discomfort, ability to fit the knee in the coil comfortably, etc. Simple X-ray will tell a lot too...sometimes with a complete tear it will pull a small chunk of bone with it...

Here's to a speedy recovery I feel sorry for the guy. Get it right don't come back too soon and have it mess with him his whole college career

FUDGE! Well....fun while it lasted. Bunch time. Anyone else we can move to QB?
