A lot of it is just perspective. In any conference other than the Big or SEC, this team would be a leader. In the Big, you need and NFL contender at every position to compete. They are getting closer but not there yet. Having lived out of state for most of the last 4 or 5 decades, being an...

Unbelievable, you people posted two pages on a urinal. Worse yet, I wasted ten minutes of my life reading them. I've got to get a life.

I'd say you are correct. I would say the talent level of UFC's schedule was comparable to the first five teams NU has played this season, the only exception being the bowl game. However, that is much the same as the type of schedule NU had back in the Big 8 days.

The quality of the competition had a lot to do with that record as well.

Good points Red. Everyone makes mistakes on occasion. Maybe they need to do like they do in volleyball. Give the team two challenges a game and if they are correct, they retain the challenge.

I was happy with the game. Looked better on both sides of the ball. Hopefully that means development and growth. I know the opponent had something to do with that, but I'll drink the Kool-Aid anyway. Both QBs looked good, the backs ran well. When a tough yard was needed, they lined up and...

Oregon didn't impress me either.

It wasn't pretty but it was a W. Covered the points. Won the rushing game. Won the passing game. Defense needs some work. Way too many dropped passes. Way too many penalties. But I'll take the win.

Some cities only support pro teams. Chicago is another example of this.
