What a cluster— time for MR to pull a rabbit out of his hat GBR

This is not a good development— if DR decides to stay with UGA and DK goes to MSU, we are up the creek without a paddle GBR

I’m not sure how MR will handle the numbers, but I wonder if players getting significant NIL money could pay their own tuition and be considered walk-in’s BHBR

GRINDER GBR

The thing that concerns me is DR, IIRC, has been thru three high schools and we would be his third college commitment— he could be gone before spring ball if he gets a better offer That said, you can’t turn that kind of talent away— guess this is where MR earns his money GBR

Boy, do I hate the portal GBR

I would be concerned that if DK leaves, he could take some serious talent with him— seems like Nelson, Brix, the two WRs from Omaha were all “recruited “by DK— that group seems tight I wouldn’t turn DR away, but I DON’T want to lose DK GBR

Could be when Georgia’s qb decided to stay another year , DR decided he didn’t want to sit GBR

I’m not sure how I feel about this—he turned us away twice and now we are his “safety school “ Just hope we don’t lose DK and up with a prima donna BTW— Wiltfong just flipped his crystal ball to NU GBR

Pretty sure if he flipped, it would be to play— not redshirt— he could redshirt in Georgia GBR

Question about scholarships— if we give these guys a little extra NIL money, could they pay their own tuition and be considered walk-ons? If there is a loophole here, we should use It GBR

And it’s not April 1st Im sure this is a hoax, but Miami would be a great landing spot for him. GBR

Completely disagree—-if you’re going to cut his pay just fire him and be done with it— pay cuts are NEVER a motivator for increasing performance GBR

If that is the case, we will have to go to the portal for a second QB— we can’t go into next fall with only two scholarship QBs—IMO, we should have four Hope CP stays— he showed flashes that made me think he has a great deal of potential GBR

I don’t believe there was a star rating system at the time— but he was a Parade AA, which was a BIG deal GBR

Not to jinx anything, but the last 5* transfer we got from OSU was a straight up BUST as was the Georgia felon We’re due to have one that exceeds expectations GBR

A lot of “ifs” here, but if Ward goes to OSU, that puts Lincoln K back to third string— maybe 4th—IMO, we need two additional QBs in this class— maybe LK is option #2 As of now, LK is not in the portal, but you can bet his people are talking to our people GBR...

College Football Coaches Are Now In NIL Bidding Wars Inside Transfer Portal With $100K Shakedowns From Their Own Players “Thanks to a player like Caleb Williams, quarterbacks are now at a premium. What was once a four-year commitment to a school has now turned into a one-year lease, with an...

I don’t think that’s a done deal by any means My guess is MR is talking with a number of players to see what their interest level might be and then make an offer/ offers I would be really disappointed if we don’t bring in an experienced player and a developmental player to get to four...

I think we take two in any case— we need at least 4 scholarship QBs to start the year GBR
