I'm no NorthwoodHusker. I'm as disappointed and frustrated as anyone here. The only difference is I'm not going to go online and rant about firing the head coach after losing three close games that --- Heeeeellloooo, EVERYBODY here said before the season we were likely to lose. The same fans who have 'given up on Rhule' and want another complete do-over are the same folks who predicted we'd be lucky to win seven games this year.

Doc, you are conflating two issues here. Yes, many of us predicted we would be lucky to win 7 games. That does NOT mean we were going to be pleased if our low expectations were met. Despite Coach Matt saying all off and non-con seasons that this is the most talented team he has had at Nebraska, most of us knew the handicap to their success would be his coaching ability. He has lived up to our low expectations, and getting to 7 at this point appears to be a real challenge.

Let's hope he can outcoach Bielema tonight and get us back on track. Clearly the Huskers have more talent and spent a lot more money assembling their team than Illinois did.
