Posters here shouldn't be expecting perfection during Game Week One. I'm pretty sure I've heard Charlie once say that his site's administrative staff show their biggest improvement between Game Week One and Game Week Two.

I did. I have never been impressed with RVP. I haven't seen anything from him to warrant the hype I have heard Matt Rhule talk about him with.

He looked promising as a true freshman when he got in the game. Last year not so much.

I think we'll be able to run the ball against pretty much any opponent not named Ohio State. The questions I have are for the OL, in particular, the OT spots. Have we upgrade those positions significantly through recruiting and the Portal? Can the OTs hold up in 1 v 1 pass pro--especially against the more elite DE and OLBs we're going to see later in the schedule? Yes Colandrea can take off and run if needed. But what I want to see is him be in the pocket, use his mobility to move within the pocket, and step up into the pocket to deliver a throw down field.
