You may not appreciate a good smack on the knee cap by a helmet. I know what it's like to play across the entire front in a 3-4, and OL in the day looked for any chance to take you out. I got high-lowed once by the center and guard and they were lucky I couldn't get them before other people tackled me. I was prepared to take on cuts but the guy stood me up and i took a helmet to the knee pad. It may not look like much but I am positive it saved my right knee.

No I get that. I was only referring to your exposed knee skidding across the carpet.

I want to see improvement on the field and in games. At this point I am so tired of hearing about how we're going to be so much better in the Fall. And that's what these puff pieces do, they paint the picture that things are good. And maybe they are good, maybe this is the configuration Matt Rhule needs to start winning at a high level. But I need to see it happen first.
